Abel Tasman

We started the day with an unguided 3.5 hour walk along the coast. Beautiful scenery, but it was quite tiring towards the end, pretty flat all the way though. We then had a picnic lunch on the beach which was provided by our kayaking guide. We were briefed on how to kayak and then we were off! Was really nice to be able to kayak around and see the sea lions, as well as some babies. Quite a tiring day, I certainly slept well after. But definitely worth it.

Zeer matig

Great experience

We had a great time Bit of a mixture of activities and learnings! First time kayaking but the our guide was great making sure we were safe and enjoying. We saw seals, many birds and beautiful scenery of Abel Tasman while learning how to kayak. We walked back from observation bay through coastal track to Marahau. Well maintained walking track with many birds to see. Curious Wekas and Fantails came up to us and we took a few photos with them! Must give it a try if you are visiting Nelson!
