Cruise the Abel Tasman golden granite coast into Tonga Island Marine Reserve, then land at an idyllic beach to walk along the famous coastal track. From Kaiteriteri, travel in style and comfort aboard the Vista Cruise into the Marine Reserve. Pause to view the antics at Tonga Island Seal Colony, and then cruise past remote northern beaches fringed by lush rainforest.
Turning around at the long, golden sands of Totaranui, return to historic Tonga Quarry Beach to start your walk. A gentle climb takes you over a beautiful forested saddle, leading to the waterfall trail around the stunning Bark Bay Inlet. Relax or take a swim at Bark Bay before a walk to picturesque Medlands Beach to rejoin the cruise back to Kaiteriteri.

Awesome Cruise !
Dies ist eine Sache die man in Neuseeland gemacht haben muss ! Die Cruise ist groß und bietet genügend Plätze, drinnen wie auch draußen. Es war eine wunderschöne Tour vorbei am Apple Split Rock, den wir super nah sehen konnten ?Das lohnt sich also echt ? Die Wanderung im Abel National Park war an unserem Tag sehr verregnet, doch so haben wir einen Regenwald hautnah miterlebt. Es war eine sehr abenteuerliche Wanderung mit traumhaften Ausblickpunkten, auf das atemberaubende Türkise Wasser und die goldenen Strände. Am Bark Bay kam die Sonne ☀️ für uns raus und wir haben das Paradies erlebt ????

Tolle Milford Sound Tour, super Crew
Sehr zu empfehlen. Es ist zwar das kleinste Boot, aber dafür fährt man tatsächlich ganz nah an die Wasserfälle und Uferstellen ran. Außerdem macht diese Company auch wirklich die größte und längste Tour, wir sind bis zum Übergang zum Meer rausgefahren, die anderen alle schon früher umgedreht. Die Crew ist stets hilfsbereit und erklärt viel.

Abel Tasman zu Wasser und Land erleben!
Ein toller Tag! Wir hatten Glück und es war ein sonniger Tag mit einem sehr frischen und kühlen Wind. Dafür gab es warme Decken, die den Passagieren zur Verfügung standen. Richtig Klasse! Mit dem Boot ging es die Küste rauf am National Park entlang. Zwischendurch hielten wir an und konnten den zerbrochenen Stein sowie die Robben beobachten. Einer der Mitarbeiter teile viele Informationen über Land, Leute und Geschichte mit den Passagieren. Das war sehr schön auf diese Weise mehr zu erfahren. Ganz oben am Park angekommen wurde gewendet und es ging ein Stück zurück, zum Startpunkt der Wanderung. Mit mittlerer Steigung durch Wald und Sträucher den Berg hinauf und ab. Am Ende war ein schöner Strand, der im Sommer zum Baden einlädt bevor das Schiff einen wieder einsammelt und zum Startpunkt zurück bringt. Preis-Leistung war toll.

Schöner Tagesausflug
Mir hat diese Kombination aus Bootsfahrt und kleiner Wanderung gut gefallen. Leider war das Wetter nicht so toll und so wurde die Stunde am Strand bevor wir wieder eingesammelt wurden etwas lang. Ansonsten ein gutes Angebot um den Abel Tasman kurz zu besichtigen.

Fotostop Fehlanzeige
Tolle Landschaft. Cruise? Eher ein Transportmittel für die Wanderer. Der Skipper fuhr an den Split Apple Rocks vorbei, ohne für einen Fotostop anzuhalten. Ich bin nach Ende der Cruise noch mit dem Auto dorthin gefahren. Beim Check-in fragte ich wegen der Wanderung. Ob es sehr steil wäre. "A little bit". Was für eine Untertreibung. Für mich als Flachländerin und schon etwas älter, war die Tour eine absolute Herausforderung.
