Cruise the Abel Tasman golden granite coast into Tonga Island Marine Reserve, then land at an idyllic beach to walk along the famous coastal track. From Kaiteriteri, travel in style and comfort aboard the Vista Cruise into the Marine Reserve. Pause to view the antics at Tonga Island Seal Colony, and then cruise past remote northern beaches fringed by lush rainforest.

Turning around at the long, golden sands of Totaranui, return to historic Tonga Quarry Beach to start your walk. A gentle climb takes you over a beautiful forested saddle, leading to the waterfall trail around the stunning Bark Bay Inlet. Relax or take a swim at Bark Bay before a walk to picturesque Medlands Beach to rejoin the cruise back to Kaiteriteri.

  • 11.50am - Arrive Tonga Quarry
  • 9.20am - Depart Kaiteriteri
  • 11.20am - Totaranui
  • 3.10pm - Vista Cruise departs Medlands Beach
  • 4.15pm - Return to Kaiteriteri

Un endroit de rêve que nous avons découvert sous un soleil radieux, ce qui aide à l'apprécier. Un décor paradisiaque. Une balade très belle. Des otaries sur les rochers et une bonne baignade. Super journée.

Magnifique excursion pour voir l'ensemble de la côte de l'Abel Tasman Park. La balade de 2h est juste magnifique avec ponts, cascades, plages . juste splendide ! Et assez de temps pour s'arrêter et contempler Bark Bay qui est a seulement 10min de Medland beach. Equipe très pro et sympathique.

Bonne activité

Bonne balade en mer et très bonne alternative au kayak, notamment par temps maussade et gris. On a été jusqu’au bout de la baie de Tasman ce qui offre un très beau panorama. Le bateau est revenu ensuite pour nous déposer à l’arrêt de Tonga. De là, nous avons fait une petite randonnée de 1h30. Bonne balade et bons souvenirs

Croisière rando à pieds

Très bien. Les temps donnés pour faire la randonnée est largement suffisant. Attention le bateau taxi est très en avance par rapport aux heures de passage donné. (14h50 pour 15h10). La rando passe dans une forêt luxuriante il y a beaucoup d'oiseaux. Pas de difficultés particulières faisable avec des enfants.

Seuls au monde

Nous avons failli manquer le bateau au retour car nous n étions pas sur la bonne plage,mais sur celle d à côté. Il serait utile de veiller à ce que les passagers non anglophones aient bien compris ce genre d information.
