Awesome experience
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. We were given a very extensive briefing on how to use the kayaks & equipment, health and safety and what to expect once we were out on the water (from tides and currents to where to see the highlights around Able Tasman). Because of this we had an amazing experience on our full day kayak freedom rental. I would have no hesitation in recommending Kahu Kayaks.

Perfect experience!
This was absolutely amazing experience. Me and my buddy had a great time on the waves of beautiful Abel Tasman National park, we had a lunch break at Adele’s island and then on the same island from the other side we saw seals! The kayaking was also very good workout. Guys from the Kahu kayaks were amazing, funny, polite, charming. They told us everything, helped with everything. This one day rental is New Zeland’s must do!

Great wxperience
We had a great time with the kayaks at Abel Tasman. The location is incredibly beautiful and in good weather easy to paddle. Everyone we interacted with was really nice and helpful.

Great Trip!
We hired the kayak for a day on a self-guided tour. Very specific and detailed instructions, equipped for an emergency as well! We had a great Instructor and we were lucky with the weather. Saw many deals with their babies on the two islands. The instructions were great but it does take up a lot of time and we wished we had more time than 4pm.

Awesome Experience!
3 weeks on and we are still talking about our amazing day exploring the Abel Tasman waters with Kahu Kayaks. The instruction and safety briefing was excellent and we felt well equipped to kayak our way across the Marahau estuary and along the coastline. We stopped for a picnic lunch on a golden beach we had all to ourselves, then found some seals on Adele Island before heading back to base. Equipment was in excellent order and nothing but high praise for the Kahu team - nga mihi!!
