  • Immerse yourself in the stories & history of Queen Victoria Markets
  • Discover former city slums
  • Be in awe of the city's street art

Join us as we stroll through Melbourne's city taking in a unique culture & culinary sweetness. We’ll explore Melbourne’s most noteworthy buildings, and interesting alleyways all while indulging in tasty donuts. This walking tour is the perfect combination of cultural and culinary exploration.

We begin our journey at Federation square. We’ll then head off to see incredible laneway street art, walking in and out of Hosier Lane and AC/DC Lane, named for Australia’s most famous rock ‘n’ roll band. We continue our journey exploring former city slums, hearing stories of dark back alleys that once housed the city’s brothels, and then off to Queen Victoria Market. This is the largest open-air market in the Southern Hemisphere with offerings from 600 businesses. We’ll then meander off to take in the beautiful sights of architectural heritage and culture of Melbourne’s Chinatown which was settled in the 1850s during the Victorian gold rush.

Throughout the tour, we’ll visit less travelled laneways to explore beautiful streets, and historic gems, and to indulge in delicious donuts. You can find the best donuts the city has to offer on these off streets. Last but not least, we’ll have the privilege of visiting The State Library. This is Australia's oldest public library, established in 1854 and one of the first free libraries in the world. It’s home to more than two million books as well as hundreds of thousands of photographs, maps and newspapers!

From interesting stories, delicious coffee and donuts, to rich history and culture, our History & Donuts tour is the best way to experience Melbourne’s culture & culinary deliciousness.
