Starting with a convenient pick up from your accommodation, we will travel up the range to the Kuranda Village past fields of Sugar Cane and the beautiful rainforest reaching our destination. This picturesque location offers so much to do you'll be spoilt for choice.
After a brief tour of the village, enjoy 3 hours of time at Kuranda Village, giving you enough time for wildlife encounters, checking the local arts and crafts scene, taking a cruise on the Barron River and enjoying a range of sumptuous dining options.
Once you're done, jump onto the Kuranda Scenic Railway to experience the beauty of the rainforest and soak up the hidden gems of this diverse location before finishing up at Freshwater Station and being transported back to your accommodation.

- Approx 70 minute small bus ride to Kuranda
- Kuranda Village - approx 3 hours to explore Kuranda
- Take Kuranda Scenic Railway back to Cairns approx 1.5 hours
- Bus collects you from the Train station and takes you to the drop off locations (approx 20 mintues)

Unforgettable experience in Kuranda
My experience in Kuranda was unforgettable, I was lucky enough to see a Kasawari while taking a river cruise. Michael's organization was perfect and he is very nice, while we were on his bus to Kuranda he informed us about everything we were seeing in Cairns, what we could do in Kuranda and he sent us an informative message with all the details to catch the train back. In Kuranda we were able to visit what we wanted and then return by train, the return by train was a magical experience, the landscapes with waterfalls are incredible. Michael picked us up at the Freshwater station train stop.

Kuranda rail experience
A great day out yesterday especially with the efficient Michael to pick us up and drop us off. Excellent local knowledge which made the trip that more interesting. Would definitely use Cairns Custom Tours again and recommend.
