Next we journey to the heart of a Wet Tropics World Heritage listed rainforest where you’ll experience the remarkable beauty of on the Milla Milla Falls, Australia’s most iconic waterfall.
We break for lunch at in Malanda for a delicious country meal before we head off to our next epic location.
Here you will have time to explore area and enjoy a bush walk, a swim behind the waterfall and view an 85 meter deep volcanic crater!
Next on the agenda is Curtain Fig Tree. A truly unforgettable sight, this mammoth tree towers three stories above ground level with unique curtain like vines. If you’re lucky you may even spot an elusive Lumholtz Tree Kangaroo!
For our final destination we take you to the spectacular Lake Eacham.
This gorgeous lake is situated inside a dormant volcanic crater and has a temperature of 23 degrees all year round. Lake Eacham is surrounded by beautiful rich bush-land and wildlife, and its warm waters are home to many turtles.
We finish off an amazing day by taking a beautiful sunset swim in the lake before we make our way back to Cairns.
Sounds like such a great day! We are so grateful you chose to travel with us and had an amazing time!
Perfect day out seeing the sights. Prompt pick up. Knowledgeable information from our guide Ben, he also has a great sense of humour. Waterfalls were amazing, Lake Eacham is stunning, all were beautifully refreshing. Nice lunch stop with a bull ride for entertainment. Highly recommended.
Thank you for such a kind review! We are glad you had a great time exploring the beauty of the area! Hope to have you travel with us again in the future!
A great day, beautiful waterfalls and good host, but a lot of sitting on the bus
Thank you so much for traveling with us! Glad you enjoyed all of the stops!
Stops were quite rushed. The longest stop was 1hr but most were 30/40 mins and not really enough time to enjoy swimming, dry and dress/toilet and walk back to the bus. Ben our tour guide was very friendly and courteous. Scenery throughout the drive was luscious and relaxing.
We are so sorry you felt rushed throughout the day. We hope that you were able to enjoy the beauty of the waterfalls and landscape along the way.
This tour was one of my favourites, such spectacular views of the rainforest and waterfalls. The host was very energetic and had good vibes to share around. It was a good group to explore with and I highly recommend this tour.

Worth it!
Our guide has an adventurous soul and was the perfect guy to show us around. He loved nature and allowed us plenty of time to explore and experience the sites. He was very knowledgeable and answered everyone's questions, as well as pointed out extra interesting tidbits of information at each site we visited. Everyone had a great time.
