David McGurrin said... Watched Home and Away religiously from the mid 90s through to the mid 00s so this was always on the list for my brief stay in Sydney. I haven't followed it as closely in recent years but it was still a real buzz to visit Summer Bay. Donna (tour guide) and Michael (bus driver) did an amazing job with facts about the show and area and it was all very relaxed and an enjoyable experience. The location is stunning and we got to see some behind the scenes filming which was fun. Something I wasn't expecting was Barrenjoey lighthouse – well worth checking this out on the lunchbreak as it's stunning. Getting dropped off at Manly was deadly too as we were able to take the short ferry back to the city, while taking in the beautiful views.
