THE MYORA SHIPWRECK
Only when the tide is low enough, can you see the Myora. The Myora is a steamship built in 1890 and was used for general services, fishing, and pleasure cruises. Although, in 1956 it sunk into the ocean. Now, mangroves anchor Myora to the river bank for all to enjoy.

QUEENSLAND MARITIME MUSEUM
The Queensland Maritime Museum has a variety of historic ships. The HMAS Diamantia is one of the last World War II river-class frigate ships in the world. In fact, Diamantia is one of the two remaining ships in the world that hosted the surrender ceremony. The only other remaining ship is the USS Missouri on display at Pearl Harbor.
THE CHANNEL 7 WHEEL OF BRISBANE
Experience Brisbane from new heights with a 360-degree panoramic view of the river city.
BRISBANE SIGN

GOODWILL BRIDGE
This bridge connects Southbank to Brisbane city Botanic Gardens and is mainly used for pedestrian and cyclists. Stop to enjoy a coffee with a view on this Iconic Bridge.
well organised and equipped, it was not a problem to postpone it to next day (in august) because of the heavy rain. recommend 2 hours ... at "my" tide it was enough time to go to the gallery of modern art and back. a little bit of experience is helpful because you have to climb a ladder down and up and to steer with the paddle - but for fit people it is really easy and gives you a nice view to the CBD and the whole area. your luggage can stay in a locker, bring sunscreen, hat and probably extra (dry) pants and shoes which can get wet. thank you for the experience.
Had an amazing morning on the river thanks too RiverLife and their kayaks
It was ok glad I didn’t pay the full price. Was quite dangerous going down the ladder to get to the kayaks especially in the rain. Elderly or non strong people would struggle. River was very dirty and people told us there were bull sharks in there. I definitely didn’t want to fall in. They only had 1 shower with dangerous floor boards so didn’t use and no changing rooms only toilets which i thought was odd. The girl who took us felt like it was her first day so no confidence, lucky the guy helping us down the ladder was good.
Really enjoyed it, would recommend!

So much fun - a Brisbane ‘must do’
We had a perfect day for this, bright but with some cloud cover. We kayaked right under Story Bridge to the jacarandas on the other side of Kangaroo Point, checking out all the little piers and mangroves and beaches along with way, waving to passengers on the CityCats and chatting to people on piers, even doing a bit of litter pick, all against a backdrop of city centre skyscrapers and Kangaroo Point cliffs. A new perspective on the city and so much fun.
