Thanks so much for the lovely review! 🦋 It's wonderful to hear your twin enjoyed the sanctuary so much, especially after travelling all the way from the UK! We're glad you both had time to relax and watch the butterflies, and that our team could share some helpful tips along the way. Thanks again for visiting and for bringing your twin along to experience the butterflies with us!
Thanks Kim-maree! We’re so pleased you had such a memorable visit. Our team will really appreciate your kind words, and thank you for sharing your lovely photo with us too! 🦋
After I booked the tickets my friend told me most of the butterflies were dead and on a pin board at the site. He had been there 15+ years ago. On the day We were impressed with the quantity of live butterflies and the behind the scenes growing and hatching area.
Went there while spending a day in Kuranda on a tour... There were very little different species there but ok just to spend a short time, nothing special but if u have kids , they will enjoy it.
In die Jahre gekommenes, sehr überschaubares Butterfly Sanctuary. Nicht wirklich zeitgemäß und nicht das Geld wert.
Hi Tom, thanks for sharing your feedback. We're sorry to hear your visit to the Australian Butterfly Sanctuary didn't meet your expectations. While the sanctuary is a smaller attraction, there's more to discover beyond the aviary, including our breeding laboratory, museum displays and opportunities to learn about the butterfly life cycle. We understand that everyone has different expectations when visiting, and we appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts.

UK twin loves butterflies 🦋
My twin is over from the UK and expressed how much she loved butterflies. So of course having been here many times before, I brought her here. She was in seventh heaven. The front counter staff were very welcoming. We took our time around the area and simply enjoyed watching the butterflies do their thing. It is a very tranquil environment. The head gardner gave some great advice on attracting butterflies and we really appreciated his input. Thank you
