Kuranda all round experience

Overall and enjoyable adventure to Kuranda from pickup by bus to being dropped back at our accomodation. The train would be the least enjoyed part of our journey due to heat and having to wear masks in an open air carriage, which did not make sense as all passengers were more than adequately distanced in their seating. Saved a couple of the things to at Kuranda, do next time we are in Cairns. Thanks for a great day out.

Great Day Out... Ticked My Boxes!

The day trip gave all it promised and gave us a memorable taste of Kuranda and the rainforest it sits in too. Collection from our accommodation was professional and friendly and we were met at each stop by good people who assisted us. Rainforestation, the Train and the Skyrail filled us with great memories of natural wonder and cultural entertainment too. Great value day out!

Exciting Day Out!

Our trip started with a breathtaking journey above the rainforest in the Sky rail. We were able to leave the Sky rail at several locations to explore the Barron Falls and Red Rock via board walks through the magnificent rainforest. On arrival in Kuranda we were given ample time to explore the wonderful markets before we were whisked off to the informative and entertaining Rainforestation Park. We went on an interesting Army Duck Tour through the rainforest restoration and lagoons. On our return we had a scrumptious lunch and from their a self tour of the native wildlife park where we met the usual suspects..koalas, a massive croc, kangaroos...including tree kangaroos, cassowary, wombats, dingoes.Next stop the Pamagirri indigenous experience including dance, music and weaponry displays...very informative and fun. Our days tour ended with the Kuranda rail experience...we were astounded by the extraordinary engineering feats in such a challenging environment and the views were spectacular.
