With small group sizes, comfortable custom-built air-conditioned 4WD vehicles and a local guide you will go further, see more and enjoy a personalised experience.
Once we have collected you from your accommodation your adventure begins with a spectacularly scenic drive north along the Captain Cook Highway to our first stop of the day the majestic Daintree River. On arrival, it will be time for a spot of morning tea (tea, coffee & biscuits) before embarking on a 1 Hour Daintree River Cruise where you will enjoy the informative commentary and try to spot some of the local wildlife including Estuarine Crocodiles.
Heading further north we arrive at Daintree Rainforest where you can stretch your legs with a guided tour along the elevated National Park Boardwalk. Your experienced guide will help you to identify flora and fauna as we search for the elusive, rare Southern Cassowary and other incredible wildlife.
Once we have finished our Rainforest walk it will be time to enjoy a tasty lunch at a local cafe. There is also time for a refreshing swim in the heart of the Daintree Rainforest. Cool down under the lush canopy, a beautiful experience you won't forget.
Next up, stroll along Cape Tribulation Beach and to the lookout - where the rainforest meets the reef! This stunning location is perfect for those who want to snap some beautiful photos and take in the scenery.
On our way to drop you back at your accommodation, we make one last stop at Daintree Ice-Cream Company for an exotic homemade ice cream.
Itinerary
- Pick up from your accommodation (Cairns, Northern Beaches and Port Douglas)
- 1 Hour Daintree River Cruise spotting crocodiles. Enjoy light morning tea before cruise of tea, coffee and biscuits.
- Guided walk through the ancient Daintree Rainforest with your guide learning all about the Daintree Rainforest National Park, the oldest rainforest in the world!
- Lunch with your fellow travellers in the Daintree
- Freshwater swim in the heart of the Daintree Rainforest

Fantastic View of the Daintree
We wondered whether to drive or take a tour to visit the Daintree Rainforest we decided on Billy Tea Safaris and they were fantastic from the level of transport to the most excellent lunch it was a great day Highly recommend this tour company....many thanks for great experience

Great tour
Our tour guide, Graeham, was very knowledgeable and provided 5 Star service. We visited a lot of different places despite a lot of driving. Id use this company again

What a great day!
We had a fantastic day on our Billy Tea Safari of the Daintree and Cape Tribulation! Our guide, Andrew, ensured that we had an enjoyable and safe drive, with a knowledgeable commentary along the way. The bus was comfortable. We saw heaps of crocodiles on the cruise. Had a delicious lunch with a wide selection on the menu, followed by a swim in the crystal clear creek. We even spotted a male cassowary and its chick. To finish the day had a yummy ice cream at the Daintree Ice Cream Company, included in the tour. We would highly recommend this tour!

Excellent trip
Excellent trip. Driver /guide Mark is very helpful as well as being knowledgeable. Lovely stop for a quick dip in the river then a really good quality lunch , followed by river trip spotting big salty crocs with a great helmsman guide called Mick .Then on to the rain forest for a very informative walk . Finally off to cape tribulation to see where two world heritage sites meet. We were then taken to Daintree ice cream maker for a really welcome Ice cream. Well wort the money and time . Highly recommend this tour operator.
