Great value trip to the reef ($200 for 3 adults return). Boat comfortable and on time. Staff friendly and helpful and gave personalised recommendations for things to do. Snorkelling was good considering it’s a bulk tourism destination. Water was bit murky and there is very little coral left but were happy to see lots of colourful fish, 5 turtles and 2 rays. The only annoyance was that the gear hire shop and public area cafe didn’t open till 10. Which meant we lost an hour in the water. Fortunately we were able to use the resort facilities whilst we waited for the hire shop to open.
I called several times to reduce the time on the island due to my itinerary changes and even caught an Uber to speak to someone on the day Of the trip I finally received an agreement to change the return time. The crew members hadn’t even been updated!! The crew however were lovely, accomodating for everyone. Easy journey. The island doesn’t have a lot to do if too cold to go on the water. Pretty but 2 hours is enough.
There isn't much to review as you are only booking a transfer to and from Fitz Roy Island. Be careful because you can book a return trip for 2 different days but in the end the company won't honour the ticket. So this is something that should be changed in the booking options. Apart from that it's all good
They cancelled our transport to Fitzroy Island with only 2 hours notice because my friend and I were not fully vaccinated. We already paid a return fare of $164 between us which they refused to reimburse. They took this opportunity to steal our money. I would not recommend anyone who values morals to travel with Fitzroy Island Ferries.

Heaven
Arrived at the jetty with call beautiful turquoise water and you can see some corals under the water with small fishes swimming around welcoming you. I was travelling with two small children so we chose to walk to Nudeys beach. The walk was relatively easy but you do need to be fit as there were a few big boulders and steep hills to climb. We went through the beautiful rainforest and arrived at this beautiful heaven looking coral beach. Let the pictures describe my experience, I can only say you must go to this place at least once in a lifetime.
