Join us for a full-day cultural journey through Kuku Yalanji Country, guided by Traditional Custodians. This experience starts with a Traditional Smoking and Grounding Ceremony to prepare you for the day ahead. At Cooya Beach, discover how the saltwater people interact with their environment and hear Dreamtime stories that connect land and sea.

Next, we visit Mossman Gorge, where you’ll learn about the cultural significance of the area and the impact of colonization on the Kuku Yalanji people.

As we move into Whyanbeel Valley, you’ll see traditional practices like stone axe and tool making, connecting past and present.

The journey continues to Rocky Point to explore ancient fish traps, showcasing sustainable practices. Finally, we’ll travel through the Daintree River region, identifying plants used for food and healing, before reaching the breathtaking Cape Kimberley and Cape Tribulation, where rainforest meets reef.
