Paul Green said... Our day trip to Fitzroy Island was the highlight of our visit to Cairns. Just an awesome place and a really comfortable ride there and back. Great food at the bar on the island and the snorkling was awesome. Definitely worth hiring the snorkling gear and also booking the glass bottom boat too. The walk to the lighthouse was pretty intense but the place is like a deserted paradise with one resort where the ferry lands.
