From a bird's eye view catch the amazing sights of the Southern Alps. You will fly over the Tasman Terminal Lake, pass by the Horchsetter Icefall before setting down for an Alpine/Snow landing*

  • South Canterbury. 1.5 hours drive from Tekapo or 3.5 hours from Queenstown

Notes

  • Minimum Numbers: Flights are confirmed with 4 adults. Single bookings are welcome, but are waitlisted to confirm.

    *Alpine landing (November-May) and a snow landing after our first snowfall (May-Nov). This does not include a glacier landing.

  • Please Note: Customers 116kg and over will only be able to fly pending weights of other passengers on the day at check-in.

    Getting Here: We operate from the Aoraki Mt Cook Aiport (3.5 hours drive from Queenstown, 2.5 hours from Wanaka, 1 hour from Twizel, 1.5 hours from Tekapo, and 4 hours from Christchurch).

it is gorgeous!

nice snow mountain view! it is wonderful to land on the top of mountain and step on so thick snow. The helicopter driver is also nice to take photos for us.

Okay in the end

Arrived in good time for my flight, however there was an issue with the weather, and we were delayed. It then seemed other guests were arriving and going ahead of my group. We were kept waiting over an hour whilst this went on. Why? No explanation was given. It was really frustrating to say the least. I asked someone for an update, he said two minutes and disappeared! Never to be seen again. When we did eventually fly, it was very good thanks to the pilot.
