The Sunset Evening Classic tour has left a lasting impression with people from all over the world for the past 18 years with guaranteed viewing of Fur Seals and surreal visuals of the seaward Kaikoura Mountains as the light changes towards the end of the day.
Watch seals dive and manoeuvre around and under your kayak as the sunsets, paddle with them as they swim around the Peninsula hunting for octopus! Along your way keep an eye out for Blue Penguins or Albatross then have chance encounters with Dusky Dolphins.
Using our top of the line real sea Kayaks be ready for a true kiwi experience you won't forget!
The Kayaks are enclosed, safe, stable, easily steered using a rudder, while fast on the water and you will stay warm and dry.
Our qualified and experienced local guides will paddle you through areas used years ago by local Maori and early whalers as you watch the light change and the day draws to an end.
The Sunset Evening Classic sea kayak tour is the real deal and is suitable for all ages and abilities, no experience is needed as our guides will teach you all you need to know. Families, individuals and groups are most welcome!

Really nice trip, got to see some seals and birds. We went really far out which was cool, definitely worth the money!

Great experience, fun guides!
We've had fun kayaking with Miles for the sunset tour. They take safety seriously while providing plenty of fun and entertainment. Lots of seals to see on the rocks although they were too lazy or busy to swim up to us ;)

Hundreds of dolphins!
We were very fortunate to find a huge pod of dusky dolphins on a morning tour in April. We were able to paddle right through them as they jumped for us and played around our kayaks. Truly a once in a lifetime experience!

카약은 처음이었어요, 바람은 때에따라 다르겠지만 돌아올 땐 좀 강해서 힘들었고 래프팅경험있어서 가볍게 봤는데 생각보다 조작은 쉽지않았던 것 같아요. 혼자가도 다른 사람이랑 같이타면 되니 별다른 문제 없구요. 낯가림심한 편인데 가이드분들이 되게 친절하고 잘 몰라도 설명 잘해주시구요. 다 준비되어있어서 별다른 준비는 필요없구요. 전 물도 필요없던데. 음.. 사진기는 있음 좋을 것 같고 선크림이나 선글라스 모자 챙기시는걸 추천드립니다! 색다른 경험이었고 목적지까지 멀지도 않고 도착하여 얘기나누는 순간들이 되게 평화롭게 느껴졌어요. 바람은 강하니 조심
