diane said... Cant recommend Cascade sadly. 4 people at our table made up the 8 patrons in whole bar space last night at 6.30pm. We ordered 6 tasting plates from menu, checking with our waiter that this would be enough for 4 people. The first two arrived, we enjoyed them. We chased the rest of dinner items approx. 20 minutes after the first 2. The next two came to the table and were delicious we were still hungry but had gut feeling rest were not coming. Unfortunately our last two never arrived. By now my partner ordered a 2nd beer. By now only 1 other table was present in cafe, not busy at all, no beer arrived. We chased it 10mins later. Staff were quite friendly, waiter/barman just not on the ball and it really showed. When leaving to pay account, another staff member was there and kindly offered to get kitchen to fufill our order. Sadly by now it was just too late to make our evening there memorable for the right reasons. Food we did have was great music was great. Rest just a let down on a Saturday night.
