Amazing!
My husband and I visited Orana just for a small day out for us, it was absolutely amazing, especially seeing all the animals so up close and feeding the giraffes was the highlight. The only one thing I’ll really recommend is they can definitely do with more signs, we actually walked all the way around and felt lost in between and there were many others who felt the same way, so definitely more signs would help.

Run down
Really sad, barely see animals went around 1, also some animal encounters are so far you need binoculars to see them. Zoo is run down, needs a massive upgrade haven’t been back since I was in primary school, and it looks the same from 20 years ago except run down. Food was good, keepers were awesome, but the animals seem depressed, tiger feeding time was sad, literally just chucked a box of meat for them to rip open.

Wonderful
Took 3 kids and my aunt to Orana on a family weeked away to Christchurch. Absolutely loved Orana wildlife park. The staff were all wonderfull!! The grounds clean and tidy and the animals all seemed quite content. Will definitely visit again if we are ever in Christchurch again!
