Beautiful experience
We very enjoyed warm atmosphere, beautiful views, watching the dolphins and seals. The crew was lovely and friendly, providing drinks, cookies. Very informative. Also I liked the music providing on the board suitable for recording videos. Highly recommend.

Dolphin watching Akaroa
We had a fantastic afternoon. We saw plenty of dolphins the sun was shining what more can you ask for? The captain was very knowledgeable and the other crew member was great. We would definitely recommend this trip for sure.

You won't be disappointed! Skipper Roy with his crew, Emmi and Jess, will make sure you have a fantastic time aboard! We saw fur-seals, blue penguins, several pods of Hector's dolphin and even a Giant Pectryl. Roy gave a very interesting geological/historical commentary and both crew answered all questions whilst simultaneously keeping us fed and watered. Well done to Roy, his crew and Red Fox II for a wonderful sailing experience.

Though the thrux of the idea is to see Hector’s Dolphins, and we did, Fox II is much more of an experience than that. Beautiful boat, small group, fabulous varied commentary about Akaroa as we unhurriedly floated along the water. The sails went up, the motors off and we just absorbed the unique experience. Three hours later we drifted off onto land totally relaxed. The crew of two looked after us really well, no fuss, just there if and when you needed them, whilst hoisting sails and doing everything else that needed doing. We’re so glad we didn’t choose the catamaran.
