See native Kiwi, cheeky Kea, Tuatara and the very rare Takahe - and much much more.
Have always, and will always love willowbank! You get to see some great animals but in a much more interactive environment than big zoos!
They obviously care about the animals very much and there are plenty. A very nice experience.
Don't expect to much. It feels more like a pedding zoo then a zoo that we are used to in Europe. Some animals have got really small paddocks and no space to get arround. Hope the donkeys, horeses etc will get out after opening hours. Kiwi's have got loads of space so took a while to find them but thats good as they are doing their own thing.
Fun experience. The Kids love it
