Bookme ReviewOrana Wildlife ParkPosted by rebeccao from New Zealand on 14 Jul 2020

  • rebeccao said... We did enjoy our day here with our toddler. It is a bit run down though. It had rain that morning and there were big puddles everywhere, especially the barnyard for farm animals. A bit of sand would do the trick. We loved the giraffes and feeding them!! The meerkats, keas and porcupines were great too. The volunteer guides were super awesome. I think the lions and cheetahs were a bit sad looking, but seeing the gorillas last was a bit of a let down. They looked bored and depressed. I know the park gives them lots of things to do, but I think they are too much like humans and dont like to be contained and on display. The other apes seemed all good. I think Orana park needs to consolidate what they have, so they can make it awesome. Send the Gorillas back to Africa. Cafe was great!
