chris said... What a wonderful day we had at Orana Park. We went on a sunny Tuesday. We arrived at 10 and followed the keepers as they did their feeding rounds. Loved all the extra information they gave about the animals behaviour and diet. Fascinating. The Orana Park Volunteers are a wealth of knowledge also. So many stories and interesting facts. The park is well set out over a large area- so the animals have maximum space to roam. The ride on buggy that tours the park constantly was very helpful for my 90 year old Dad. It meant we saw Everything in the park. Before we knew it, it was closing time! It had been a full day of learning and new experiences. Highly recommended Orana Park as the best day out for every age. Highlights were feeding the giraffes, watching the gorillas, seeing kiwis, the size of the porcupines... in fact , there are So many highlights. You will just have to go there yourself and decide what is Your best experience. Orana Park is Awesome. Thank you to all the staff for making our visit so memorable.
