The double kayak hire option is the perfect way to share the experience with a friend, giving you plenty of time to relax and cruise the calm waters at your own pace.

Let the team from Coromandel Paddle Boarding give you the inside knowledge on where to go and what there is to see. A fun outdoors activity, and memorable way to discover the picturesque beauty of the Coromandel.

No experience is necessary for the 2 hour rental - you'll be given a quick safety briefing and tutorial before you take off.


Looking for something truly unique?

Take a paddle toward one of New Zealand's most mesmerising beaches - Cathedral Cove!

To have ample time time to get there at a comfortable pace you'll require a minimum of 4 hours of rental time, only available at the early morning slot. It is roughly 1.5 hour each way paddling to Cathedral Cove - kayak experience and good level of fitness is needed.

This way you have plenty of opportunity to explore, take breaks, and enjoy the serenity of the Coromandel.

  • Important: Please check in 15 min prior to your start time to give the staff ample time to get you set up and go through safety procedures.

Super Kommunikation im Voraus bezüglich Treffpunkt und notwendige Erfahrungen und Dauer um zu Cathedral Cove zu paddeln Es sind 10min (5 hin und 5 zurück) von Cooks Beach und waren für uns in 1h je Weg zu paddeln und hatten somit super Zeit um Cathedral cove zu erkunden Shanan war super nett und hat eine gute Einführung gemacht und eine Karte mitgegeben

It’s on you to make it a good or a bad experience, you do need to make some physical effort over there. We found it challenging in a cloudy and windy day. However, it was lots of fun for us. Nothing to add about the company, simple and efficient logistics. The guy was in contact with us to just check we were ok.

Double Kayak Hire - not good

Don’t book through this guy he sent us out in dangerous conditions. The actual Cathedral Cove kayaks were not running and he still sent us out. We didn’t even get half way to Cathedral Cove and then around and came back because it was too dangerous.
