Experience the raw beauty of the Northern Territory on this action-packed day trip through Kakadu National Park. From the rugged 4WD tracks to the breathtaking views atop the Arnhem Land escarpment, you will immerse yourself in a landscape rich with ancient culture and natural wonder. Led by expert guides, you’ll journey deep into the heart of the park to witness its most iconic landmarks and hidden gems.

Cool off with a refreshing dip in world-class swimming holes and stand in awe before the towering stone galleries of Ubirr. This tour is designed for those who want to escape the crowds and experience the true spirit of the outback. Whether you’re marveling at the diverse wildlife or learning about the world’s oldest living culture, every moment promises an unforgettable connection to the wild.

Itinerary: Day 1 & 2

  • Day 1: Morning pickup from Darwin (6:30–6:45 am), beginning with a Corroboree Billabong wildlife cruise before entering Kakadu National Park. Picnic lunch by the East Alligator River, then spend the afternoon at Ubirr and climb to the summit. Settle in for an overnight stay at the exclusive Mardugal Billabong campsite.
  • Day 2: Visit Maguk (Barramundi Gorge) with a 40-minute creek walk to a plunge pool for a swim, then travel by 4WD to Gunlom Falls (seasonal). If time permits, continue to Ikoymarrwa (Moline Rockhole) for a swim. Walking distance is approximately 3km, with breakfast and lunch included.

    Itinerary may be done in reverse at guides discretion. All itineraries are subject to change without notice due to seasonal and extreme weather conditions, National Park road or attraction closures and cultural commitments from Traditional owners.

    You will receive a check-in email 7 days before departure. Please use this email to reconfirm your pickup location and any dietary requirements

    All tours are most suitable for ages between 18 and 45, however those older than this range can be taken into consideration.

    Travel insurance is highly recommended to travellers who embark on any tours with Territory Expeditions.

    Min age recommended is 8 years of age. Families and small groups are welcome on our tours.

  • Price includes all National Park fees

    Cancellation Policy:

    Minimum 20% non-refundable deposit to confirm bookings of regular departures

    100% payable for all cancellations within 7 days of departure

    50% payable for all cancellations between 8-29 days prior to departure

    20% payable for all cancellations made outside 30 days of departure

    You are strongly advised to take out travel insurance which covers you for cancellation, at the time of booking. If you leave a tour for any reason after it has commenced, we are not obliged to make any refunds for unused services. If you fail to join a tour, join it after departure, or leave it prior to its completion, no refund will be provided. If you have booked through a travel agent, which may also include other travel components, please contact them directly.
