Dive into the heart of nature as we navigate rugged terrains in our trusty 4WD. Visit must-see spots like Jim Jim Falls, Gunlom, Maguk, and the iconic Ubirr rock art sites. Escape the crowds and discover serene, crystal-clear pools tucked away in the wilderness. Take in breathtaking panoramic views from atop the Arnhem Land escarpment.

Relax in your private safari tent campsite under the stars, enjoy fresh meals, and learn about the culture, wildlife, and history of this breathtaking region from expert guides. With small groups, challenging 4WD tracks, and unforgettable scenery, this tour is perfect for adventure seekers and nature lovers alike.

Itinerary: Day 1, 2 and 3

  • Day 1: Darwin – Kakadu Pick up from central Darwin (6:30–6:45am). Start with a wildlife cruise on Corroboree Billabong, then head to Kakadu National Park. Stop for a picnic near the East Alligator River to spot crocs and flying foxes. Explore Ubirr rock art and climb for panoramic views over the Nardab floodplains and Arnhem Land. Camp: Mardugal Billabong safari camp Meals: Lunch & Dinner
  • Day 2: Kakadu After breakfast, 4WD to Jim Jim Falls. Hike 1 km through the gorge to the plunge pool for a swim. Visit Burrungkuy (Nourlangie Rock) to learn Dreamtime stories and see rock art. Hike to Gunwhardewharde Lookout for sweeping views of the escarpment and billabongs. Return to camp for dinner and relaxation. Camp: Mardugal Billabong safari camp Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
  • Day 3: Kakadu – Darwin Visit Maguk (Barramundi Gorge) for a short hike and swim. Then head to Gunlom Falls, hike to the top for the infinity pool, and relax at the bottom plunge pool. Drive back to Darwin via Pine Creek, arriving around 5:30pm. Meals: Breakfast & Lunch

    • Itinerary may be done in reverse at guides discretion. All itineraries are subject to change without notice due to seasonal and extreme weather conditions, National Park road or attraction closures and cultural commitments from Traditional owners.
    • You will receive a check-in email 7 days before departure. Please use this email to reconfirm your pickup location and any dietary requirements
    • All tours are most suitable for ages between 18 and 45, however those older than this range can be taken into consideration.
    • Travel insurance is highly recommended to travellers who embark on any tours with Territory Expeditions.
    • Min age recommended is 8 years of age. Families and small groups are welcome on our tours.
  • Price includes all National Park fees

    Cancellation Policy:

    • Minimum 20% non-refundable deposit to confirm bookings of regular departures
    • 100% payable for all cancellations within 7 days of departure
    • 50% payable for all cancellations between 8-29 days prior to departure
    • 20% payable for all cancellations made outside 30 days of departure
    • You are strongly advised to take out travel insurance which covers you for cancellation, at the time of booking. If you leave a tour for any reason after it has commenced, we are not obliged to make any refunds for unused services. If you fail to join a tour, join it after departure, or leave it prior to its completion, no refund will be provided. If you have booked through a travel agent, which may also include other travel components, please contact them directly.
