Sneak Peak into your 3-day adventure:

Day 1: Darwin - Kakadu

You'll be picked up between 6:30am and 6:45am from your accommodation in Darwin.

Our Kakadu adventure begins with a wildlife cruise on Corrobboree Billabong, where you'll see local wildlife such as crocodiles and native birds.

After the cruise, we'll drive to Kakadu National Park.

We'll stop for a picnic lunch by the East Alligator River, where you might see crocodiles and flying foxes!

Next, we'll visit the famous Ubirr in the northern part of the park. Here, you'll see some of the best rock art in northern Australia. Your guide will tell you about the art and what it means. If you climb to the top, you'll get amazing 360º views of the Nardab floodplains and Arnhem Land.

Tonight, we'll camp at our exclusive safari camp at Mardugal Billabong in the heart of Kakadu. You can relax around the campfire, enjoying a cold drink or toasted marshmallows.

Meals: Lunch & dinner.

Day 2: - Kakadu

Wake up early for an exciting day filled with refreshing waterfalls and beautiful walks!

After breakfast, we head to Maguk (Barramundi Gorge). It's a 1km walk through a forest with rocks to climb, and then feel refreshed with a swim in the cool plunge pool.

Next, we go to Gunlom Falls in the south of Kakadu. You can hike to the top and swim in the infinity pools with a view of southern Kakadu. Don't miss the plunge pool at the bottom, it's really cool and a great place to relax on the beach.

We end the day with a short walk and swim at Ikoymarrwa (Moline Rockhole), a special place with not many visitors.

Tonight we camp at Mary River Roadhouse, right on the border of Kakadu.

Day 3: Kakadu – Litchfield - Darwin

Another beautiful early morning rise for our next adventure to Litchfield National Park.

Today, we'll spend the day exploring the amazing things in Litchfield.

You'll learn about the interesting Cathedral and Magnetic mounds that are common here.

We'll hike and swim at Buley Rockholes, Florence Falls, and Wangi Falls.

We'll head back to Darwin around 5:30 in the afternoon.

Notes

  • Please Note:

    • Please note that the 3-Day Kakadu Adventure is fully accommodated so no camping applies to this tour.
    • Itinerary may be done in reverse at the guides discretion. All itineraries are subject to change without notice due to seasonal and extreme weather conditions, National Park road or attraction closures and cultural commitments from Traditional owners.
    • All tours must be reconfirmed 24 hrs prior to travel.
    • All tours are most suitable for ages between 18 and 45, however those older than this range can be taken into consideration.
    • Travel insurance is highly recommended to travellers who embark on any tours with Territory Expeditions.
    • Min age recommended for our tours is 15 years of age, however will take children as young as 8 years.
  • Pay on board National Park Levy:

    A Government National Park Fee of $40 per adult and $20 per child is required to be paid on board and is not included in the price paid below on Bookme.


    Cancellation Policy:

    • Minimum 20% non-refundable deposit to confirm bookings of regular departures
    • 100% payable for all cancellations within 7 days of departure
    • 50% payable for all cancellations between 8-29 days prior to departure
    • 20% payable for all cancellations made outside 30 days of departure
    • You are strongly advised to take out travel insurance which covers you for cancellation, at the time of booking. If you leave a tour for any reason after it has commenced, we are not obliged to make any refunds for unused services. If you fail to join a tour, join it after departure, or leave it prior to its completion, no refund will be provided. If you have booked through a travel agent, which may also include other travel components, please contact them directly.
