Julie and Maria miss the best bit

Loved the trip up to Pukerangi and were looking forward to enjoying the trip back especially the rocky gorge as we hoped to be outside,, while we were waiting on the return trip for food, we were in the buffet car and on return to our seats realised the best bit was already past. We felt like a couple of dolts but laughed. Well worth the money. Thank you. Just a suggestion for the food and coffee service. a supply of Nescafe coffee sticks would have been most welcome in place of a barista coffee (which wasn't on offer) and easy enough. Otherwise 10 out of 10

Highly recommended

It was a pleasant journey to Pukerangi. Beautiful view, nice carriage, and you’ll see amazing engineerings along the way. Good to do this on a sunny day 😊
