The Otago Peninsula is home to a wonderful array of wildlife including marine mammals, albatrosses, penguins and other ocean birds. This fascinating cruise will take you on a journey around the spectacular Taiaroa Head - the worlds only mainland nesting place of albatross. Enjoy watching our native furseals play on the rocks and sometimes see New Zealand sea lions basking on the white sandy beaches.

The cruise was amazing, the crew had amazing knowledge. Thoroughly enjoyed but the parking options are very limited despite it saying free parking available there is approx only 6 parks which is not much considering there was 22 people on our cruise

Great value for money
Getting these tickets so cheap through bookme made this experience even more value for money! Great captain whonwas super knowledgeable and did everything he could to get us close to wildlife without disturbing any. We saw plenty of Albatros as well as other sea birds, fur seals, sea lions, penguins and even dolphins! Great experience and our 1 year old loved it

Amazing hour, unbelievable how much you can fit in
What an amazing hour. Buddy gave amazing commentary. Extremely funny man. The whole team were incredible . Warm coats to keep you dry. I struggled with their binoculars though so take your own, if you have them. Saw dolphins, seal lions and albatros. Very lucky indeed. Thank you team Monarch.
