Great half day

The people were friendly, it was easy to know where to be and what was going on... once provided the information. Book me just palm you off to the company so don’t expect any information from them, so if you book the day before you will be waiting to hear from south sea cruises. The tour itself was great, clear water, friendly people. The half day tour is rushed due to the way they cater for the whole day tour and you are just a tag along when doin the half day. It’s hot! So the half day is enough if you have little ones. The 30 minute speech on arrival takes up a lot of your time and could be done in 10 minutes, if the let the half day people go before the scuba diving talk is given. I assume people doing half day aren’t scuba diving. Let the half day people on the glass bottom boat at this stage so they can have a turn as it only takes 20 people at a time.

Finding nemo cruise

Great experience! Staff were very helpful and friendly. Beautiful island, fish and coral, and the submarine boat was really good too. Perfect for a short day out! Keep up the good work! Vinaka.

What a great day!

Awesome day trip, we did the Finding Nemo experience and loved it! Just gives you enough time to go for a snorkel and enjoy the island. Great if you have a young child as we did. Would recommend staying for half day as there’s plenty to do if you enjoy island experiences. Would also recommend getting to check in at least 45 mins early as it can be slow.

Finding Nemo with kid

This boat goes to multiple islands and different people wear different colored bands based on where they are going/whether full day or half day etc. The boat got full by the time we got in (crowded and not great experience) - we hardly found a place to sit travelling with a kid alone. At South Sea Island, you get very less time. Lucky we went for the subsea vessel experience first - managed to go on that and I guess that is the best experience you can do while on this short trip. Though not a lot of fish that we spotted. Also managed to pick up 2/3 beers from the bar. The subsea vessel had some snag thereafter and the following group was told it was cancelled. The glass bottom boat was not functioning also. The island is good but not as large as say Tivua Island which we enjoyed thoroughly. Too many boats come here (so a lot more crowded). The pool was small and crowded. The sub sea vessel, the beach, the torqouise waters near the beach and beers/wines made the best part of the journey. You get very less time here, so start drinking soon. We did not get time to go for snorkeling or kayaking. No one to help with the kayaks. The return boat was better with very few returning half day tours people on board. Happy to do this experience but possibly there are better islands/activities to do in Fiji.

Tightly run, very satisfactory

Did the half day snorkel with my 6yo. I was anxious that it was going to be too tight but the operators knew exactly what they were doing: separated the half dayers from the full dayers and ran it like clockwork so that everything got what was promised - a submarine run, and then an (appropriately timed) snorkel
