Good walk while learning about Napier’s history
I’d never joined a walking tour before because I always thought I could explore a place on my own. But for this trip, I wanted to slow down, relax, and not have to plan everything myself, so I booked a guided walking tour. Our guide was lovely—friendly, knowledgeable, and explained everything so well. I really enjoy learning about the history of the places I visit. It was fascinating to hear how the old town was destroyed and how Napier was rebuilt with a vision for the future. It makes you appreciate the town even more. It also turned out to be a nice bit of light exercise for the day! The only thing that could be improved is the meeting point information in the confirmation email, as it still lists the old location. Thankfully, the lady at the Hawke's Bay Museum kindly helped me by calling the Art Deco Trust, and another lovely lady there gave me directions over the phone. I really appreciate both of their help. ❤️

Robin and his merry band
Robin proved to be a very knowledgeable affable and friendly host. His understanding of the 1931 earthquake and subsequent rebuilding was first rate. Thank you for a lovely tour even though the weather was against us to Regards Gwen and Terry Shepherd

Very informative tour
A great tour, the (volunteer) guide was amazing, gave great explanations and background for a lot of the beautiful buildings. If you get to Napier, don't miss!

Coup de cœur pour cette ville
Véritable coup de cœur pour cette ville. Se balader dans les rues qui sont comme figées dans le temps est une expérience incroyable. La visite à pieds est très informative et notre guide était adorable. Je recommande !
