See the Victorian gold mining era come to life at Sovereign Hill, discover age-old trades and crafts with demonstrations and hands-on activities.
This fully immersive outdoor museum is brought to life with characters in period costume walking the streets of this reproduction of an 1850s mining town.
Learn traditional skills from rope making to candle dipping and watch demonstrations by our talented confectioners, blacksmiths and wheelwrights. Test out your gold panning skills, tour the mine, watch the street performances and take part in the free and paid activities available throughout the day.

General Admission + Devonshire Tea - enjoy free activities/demonstrations and indulge in a delicious morning or afternoon tea.
General Admission + Mine Tour - enjoy free activities/demonstrations and a guided mine tour.

Had an amazing day out and saved money by pre-purchasing a bundle ticket for entry and a mine tour.

Quick, easy and save some money!
Bookme is legitimate We had such a great day at sovereign hill! Was nice to get bit of a discount to save some money! Highly recommend

Visite en famille qui permet de mieux comprendre le travail des mineurs de l'époque. Visite de la mine assez expéditive mais instructive. Dommage pour les étrangers qu'il n'y ait pas de casque audio

Waste of money in a cost of living crisis
Over $110 spent for a family of 3 to enter the park, not including food and souvenirs… that was even with a discount from bookme!!! Complete waste of money during a cost of living crisis… outings like this is a luxury & this was a HUGE disappointment!! After a musket shooting display and some colonial type singing our hopes were high, rapidly went downhill…performances which were advertised times were non existent…school kids running around like unsupervised brats, otherwise ghost town…no information explaining the historical areas!! Felt very sorry for numerous foreign tourists walking around aimlessly with no signage!! Will HIGHLY recommend avoiding!!!

Incredible experience
First but not last time there. My husband and I loved everything. Staff members are always smiling, friendly and ready to help and the place is amazing. You literally go back in time!!!! Looking forward to go again for their winter wonderlights.
