The adventure kicks off at the iconic Standley Chasm, known by its traditional name Angkerle Atwatye, translating to "Gap of Water."

This 3-meter-wide and 80-meter-high gorge nestled in the West MacDonnell Ranges is a breathtaking display of nature's rugged beauty, offering a chance to spot native wildlife in their natural habitat. As we venture westward, the allure of Ellery Creek Bighole, or Udepata, beckons with its sandy shores embraced by towering red cliffs—a perfect temptation for a refreshing dip.

The journey continues to the awe-inspiring Ormiston Gorge, where colossal geological forces have sculpted towering red walls, creating a landscape that demands admiration. Take a moment to soak in the serenity of this natural wonder before embarking on a leisurely return journey to Alice Springs.

The final stop is the enchanting Simpsons Gap in the Tjoritja West MacDonnells region, where intersecting dreaming trails and stories weave through the stunning scenery. This location boasts a permanent waterhole, providing a prime opportunity to observe resident wildlife in their element.

Great discovery

A beautiful tour around diferent gorges not too far from Alice. Few people, so it was very pleasant. The guide was attentive and full of interesting information. A very good day.

Beautiful Experience

Such a fun experience with so much to see and learn from our guide Kiegan. We luckily had a group of 5 on our day of tour. We went to so many nice spots and it was well worth it and better than renting a car and doing a DIY. Try this trip and you won't regret it. It's wonderful and I can totally recommend it. 👌
