A beautiful setting' peaceful lake to cross before walking round a fascinating landscape with hot streams, boiling water and mud, silica bluffs. Lots of drifting steam. Recommend going in cooler weather - the steam and the heat rising from the ground are more dramatic. Don't tackle if you have dodgy knees- lots of steps.
