Departing from Queenstown or Te Anau, you’ll encounter spectacular scenery from the get-go as we journey overland by coach.

Sit back and relax, enjoy informative commentary and soak up the awe-inspiring views of sheer mountains and towering cliffs, rugged valleys and native rain forest, surrounded by cascading waterfalls and glacial lakes. Our experienced, local coach driver will show you the best short walks and photo stops on the Milford Road, and will connect you seamlessly with our Milford Sound Nature or Scenic Cruise.

Board one of our modern catamarans and take in the grandeur of Milford Sound with panoramic views from the top deck, or lounge in comfort in the large covered seating areas below.

You will cruise the full length of the fiord to the Tasman Sea and enjoy the informative commentary on the abundant wildlife and natural history, stopping at waterfalls and points of interest on the way.

    Not valid in conjunction with any other special offers or discounts.

    Buffet is included for adults and children.

    Children and infants must be accompanied by a full fare paying adult on all cruises.

    In accordance with New Zealand Law, all infants and children aged under 7 years must be correctly secured in an approved child seat while travelling in any Southern Discoveries coach. If you need to hire an approved child seat, we recommend you contact Tots on Tour on +64 3 442 0409.

Fantastic coach driver Stan who was professional and humor appropriate. Made the experience so much relaxing compared to self drive with stops along the way for photo ops. 10/10 for coach. Cruise and service was great, dampened by cloudy weather. Buffet people get lower level on boat.

This cruise is a must! The sites were absolutely breathtaking, nothing like I had seen before. Our driver was excellent, we loved learning about the history of the areas we are traveling through and he was hilarious! We can't wait to bring the kids back to experience this trip!
