Enjoy both day and night for a uniquely immersive experience at NZ's longest living Treewalk!
Experience the beautiful nature of the daytime Treewalk and then see the forest illuminated by night at Redwoods Nightlights!
Start your combo visit at either day or night and then return within 3 days for your second walk.
General Admission only for nighttime, NOT a booked time for entry. When you visit for nighttime, don't rush down at sunset as everyone has the same idea. If you are hoping to avoid significant wait times, arrive closer to the last ticket sold time.
The Experience was great for me , better at Night time, but ok during daytime. My brother John. Cannon found not easy balancing , being overweight. I was ok ,yoga helps me with balance.and being Slim. Wasn't easy for me either 😕 being 62 years old..... ok on my feet..I would do it again. Folks...
The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I didn’t realise that this attraction is full of heights related bought them tickets without checking the website. The staff were very nice to offer me a refund as I couldn’t even start crossing the first bridge. Great staff!!! On the other hand, my partner and my friend enjoyed the place and even came back the next day.
It was such an amazing experience, doing the walk during the day was beautiful and then coming that evening to see the lights just added to the walk. We even bought our new friend follow_frank_the_fish on our evening walk. Thanks to my niece for suggesting we do the redwood forest walk.
We did the day walk at 4:30pm and found the walk nice, can see around, then came back at midnight - as was advised by the staff to do the night walk. The light display was amazing, to be honest it was actually better from the ground. Our only bad review was not your staff but some people on the walk itself, as there was 1 lady who slowed up the whole process being 1. to scared of the walk and 2. stopped on the bridges (as we were all told not to do). To add to this when we went to pass this lady and her group (9 people) a man stopped us by blocking the entrance to the next bridge. Its not like he or anyone was going to miss out, and they have no idea how far people have to travel back to rest for the night (we had an hours drive). Can I suggest that people are told not to hold up others when walking?
