The inquisitive New Zealand Fur Seals (Kekeno) are guaranteed to make an appearance as you approach their home turf in our top of the line Hobie Cat pedal kayaks.
Paired with the stunning scenery of the Kaikoura peninsula, you’ll experience the heart of true New Zealand beauty as you interact with the seals in their natural habitat. Local albatross and blue-eyed penguin are known to make an appearance too!

Amazing kayak
I would highly recommend you try this. The peddle kayaks are so easy compared to using a paddle. You get to see lots of seals, the beautiful bay and the guides provide lots of interesting facts about the area and animals. You may get lucky like we did and get up close to dolphins.

Very Nice and good your!
We had a very Nice expetience. Kayaks are very comfortabele, we saw lot of deals, even a pinguïn! The guides we’re very kind and made fun with us and gave more background Information about what we saw and the environment

Highlight of my trip
I’ve been in New Zealand for a month now and this was by far my favourite experience!! The guides were friendly and knowledgeable and the seals were great

Amazing experience in nature
We booked this having never used a pedal kayak and unsure of what to expect. The kayaks are really comfortable and easy to use - far easier than a paddle kayak. Waterproof bags are provided as well as good quality spray jackets and buoyancy aids. We had a brilliant experience out on the water in a small group led by Logan. He was friendly, relaxed and knowledgeable about the wildlife and the area and shared lots of fascinating facts, as well as offering to take photos for each individual kayak - a really nice touch. We got up close to seals and all sorts of sea birds and it was a wonderful way to spend a morning. If in doubt, definitely book this trip - we loved it!
