Skydive at an extraordinary 18,000ft, enjoying the thrill of jumping out of a plane, free falling through the sky at 200kph/120mph and floating safely to the ground under a parachute!

Enjoy a skydive in one of the most beautiful places on earth, with Franz Josef Glacier nestled between New Zealand’s highest mountains, the Tasman Sea, beautiful rainforests, glaciers and lakes!

The tandem skydive includes a harness and parachute system for both the passenger and the instructor to share, so you can enjoy the thrill of the experience knowing your instructor has everything under control.

Restrictions

  • We have a weight restriction of 100kgs, so please ensure you are as accurate as possible when entering in your weight details. If you fall into the weight category 100-110kgs a $40 weight surcharge will incur upon check-in.

Bad Weather Refunds

  • If your experience is cancelled by the operator (because of the bad weather, safety concerns, unscheduled maintenance etc) you will be entitled to a full refund.

  • 100% WEATHER REFUND GUARANTEE.

    Parental or guardian consent is required for anyone under 18. Children under 12 should be evaluated on an individual basis. We encourage people of all ages.

    Media packages (Photos and Videos) will be available on-site at the point of check-in.

    Please note, the times below are check-in times. Please allow 2-3 hours for your experience. You will jump approximately 30 mins later, following safety briefings etc. Please also note that when booking 2 slots, we cannot guarantee that you will be on the same flight.

18,000ft skydive at Franz Josep

It was real fun and amazing! The instructor was so professional and I just trusted him to bring me to land safely. View was breathtaking. However, wanted to get someone to help me to take video and photos when I was flying but they were short of staffs that day. Overall, it’s good experience. And definitely recommend it. Wish they could get back the 20,000ft skydive again someday and I will definitely go do it again!
