The guide was incredible! Levy is his name. Nice person and he drives really well. The only one bad thing was de communication before the tour. We’ve got a email telling us to arrive in the pick up area at 7am (30 minutes before the due time). But the bus just came at 8am.
very nice experience with our super friendly guide deanne. She has good driving skill and very knowledgeable to share many interesting fun facts along the way.
I really don't recommend it. It was incredibly expensive and the service was terrible. I waited for over an hour at the meeting point in 7-degree weather. They didn't even apologize when I asked why they were so late; they just said it was normal in New Zealand. If that's normal, I'd rather not take another tour. They told me it was going to be one of the best cruises of my life, but honestly, to see a couple of waterfalls, I don't think it's worth the NZ$300 it cost. 🤌🏼😵💫 On the cruise, there were some women who told me, "This is our section, you can't be here," 😂 as if they owned the boat. They only said that to me; no one else did, and I think it was some kind of discrimination because I'm Latina. It felt absolutely HORRIBLE. I don't recommend it at all.
Even though the weather wasn’t what I hoped for, Milford Sound was still stunning. Misty mountains, powerful waterfalls, and that dramatic scenery made the whole place feel magical. The long ride was worth it.

Good Value
We got the bus from Queenstown and the driver was very informative on way and stopped at several beauty spots The downside was, Was originally told to be 30 mins early for 7.35 departure and was waiting an hour in the cold as bus didn’t arrive till nearly 8.00. They sent an email with details informing of more accurate time the morning of departure when we had left to catch the bus and did not have wifi to see it. Suggest they send reminders/details 2 days before departure. Also usb point on coach near feet so have to scramble on floor to plug phone charger in?? Who designs these things? Milford sound was beautiful and overall a good value tour
