Join us for an unforgettable experience of Noosa North Shore's spectacular wildlife and natural beauty! We take you on an isolated 4WD adventure to our Double Island Point destination for an epic Dolphin Kayaking Tour.
Beginning with a stunning Great Beach Drive, we’ll pass through the beautiful sights of the Great Sandy National Park to our Double Point Island destination.
Double Island Point is only accessible by 4WD, away from the crowds and right into the very heart of the Great Sandy National Park.
This fantastic location boasts gorgeous scenic views over Rainbow Beach and Fraser Island and is home to a vast range of wildlife!
The crystal clear waters are warm and inviting all year round - making for perfect conditions as we set out in the kayaks.
With 400+ dolphins living in the area, your chances of seeing dolphins on this tour are very high (90%).
Humpback whales (June – November), turtles, manta rays, sting rays, soldier crabs in their thousands and migrating sea birds are all common sightings on this adventure!
We take you on a leisurely paddle around the headland where you’ll have time to really soak in the breathing views of the area as well as seeing the Double Island Point Lighthouse from a unique view.
If you’re a nature lover this is the tour for you!
Definitely good value and we had about as good a day as you could possibly have for wildlife. The area is definitely very wildlife rich. Knowledgeable and cool guides, plus the area you go to is pretty far off the beaten path, meaning as a tourist it would be a big pain to coordinate getting out there. Definitely recommend!
The day exceeded my expectations. We saw lots of dolphins and kayaked near 3 whales. One even swam under our kayak. Great guide, relaxed chilled day. If you get sea sick would recommend taking something just incase. Experience of a lifetime!
Excellent guide, the drive through the national park fantastic, the Kayaking dissapointing. Epic need to consider skill level in group. We got on water and spent most of time waiting a few metres from shore for novice kayakers to get past waves.. Dolphins glided on by in the distance while the guide told us we couldn't go anywhere until everyone was on the water. By the time the last members got on water it was time to return, the Kayaking pointless, the views were better standing on the headland. Despite the dissapointing Kayaking the drive through the national park made the trip worth doing.
Hi Sh, Thanks so much for sharing your feedback with us. Weâre really glad to hear you enjoyed the drive through the National Park and that your guide made a great impression! With the kayaking side of things â we understand your point. It can be a little tricky as we donât always know the exact capabilities of participants before departure. Some days, if thereâs a wide mix of experience levels and our resources allow, we do split groups to better match ability, but unfortunately this isnât always possible. On this particular day, we actually didnât have to kayak very far at all as the wildlife came right to us! We had whales, dolphins and turtles passing by close to shore, which meant we could sit back and enjoy some incredible sightings without much distance paddled. The amount of paddling we do really varies day to day depending on conditions, the group, and where the marine life is hanging out. We do appreciate your thoughts and will certainly keep them in mind as we continue to improve our experience for everyone.
Fantastic day with great and fun guides. Were so lucky to see lots of dolphins and even some whales.

Lovely day
We went on the trip at the end of May, and had a lovely time. We saw a few dolphins and a turtle. We also so plenty of birds! We had a great time kayaking and the nature was gorgeous.
