Great experience that as a family we loved. It had been some choppy weather so we got some thrills on the way out from the swells. Def wear the jackets if you don’t want to get wet. Our driver was great and the lady getting us geared up at desk was a hard case and interactive. It’s not a boat you do spins and crazy high speeds on like a jet boat but you travel at speed a long distance and get to see more of the islands and hole in the rock, very cool seeing cape Brett lighthouse too.
What a wonderful family activity. Fun and adrenaline. Even though it was not a fantastic day the skipper took our safety first and was fully prepared to not go through the hole if the waves did not allow. Luckily for us there was a quite patch that allowed us the experience to go through the hole. What an amazing experience totally recommended.
The tour was nice but it had to be rescheduled twice, because they didn't have enough bookings. The first time I was called and rescheduled to the day after. They also offered a refund but I really wanted to go so I stayed another night. The next day I went there and the tour got rescheduled again for 2h later. I would have appreciated to be notified prior to this, and not find out half an hour before the tour is supposed to start. I was really excited when the tour started, there are a lot of safety messures and you get a splash jacket to keep you dry. I was asking for the best place to sit and was told to sit outside. If you wanna stay dry, I recommend sitting inside or at the front. I got absolutely drenched and was wet through to my underwear. I was disappointed about the 'adventure' side of the tour. the fast boat was pretty smooth, I didn't even have to hold on. If you want an action tour I would recommend booking a jet boat tour instead. It wasn't very adventurous at all and I think the advertising is s bit misleading. After all the safety messures beforehand I would have expected more than just a boat going a bit faster than other boats.
Came in on a cruise ship, great adventure so glad we couldn’t do our original adventure. Lots of laughs, either wear water shoes or shoes you don’t mind getting wet your feet may end up being the only thing that end up hurting. Highly recommend and will do it again!

We were informed that our first booked tour had been cancelled due to technical/ maintenance. We rebooked as we were keen to experience one of the highlights of Paihia. The day has arrived made our way to the meeting point, there we were given the safety rules, we were also give raincoats and life jackets. The seats are like hugh bike seat, safety belts , further briefing of safety.... The two guys were awesome so helpful and informative of the other island. I found the thrilling, should i have the opportunity to do again I would definitely take the front seats, only because for good photo shots, instead of other peoples heads. I would suggests to wear a several layers of clothing & snug beanie and glasses so you can open yours, be careful cos they could get whipped of due to speed. Thoroughly enjoyed
