Escape the hustle and bustle of the city and discover Rural New Zealand at Sheepworld, just a 45 minute drive north of Auckland!
We had a great day out at Sheep World. The sheep shearing experience was fantastic. Lots of happy, friendly animals to feed and pat. Good selection at the cafe.
If you have a young family or you would like to see how sheep are handled in NZ, come here! Such a lovely experience. Got to see the show and tour the small farm all within a couple of hours.
We loved feeding all the animals and the shearing show was both very informative and entertaining. Kids enjoyed feeding the lambs after. Well kept and cared for animals. Recommended a visit!

Sheep shearing
Our Japanese visitor says she had never seen sheep shearing before and found it fascinating. And the hands on up close with so many animals was wonderful. We got lots and lots of great photos.
