Take a day trip to Rottnest Island, a short 35 minute ferry ride from Fremantle. The Island is 11km in length and 4.5km at its widest point making it perfect for exploring by bicycle or foot.
Rottnest Island offer a variety of things to do such as snorkelling, skydiving, walking, bike tours and more. There are also plenty of beautiful beaches to choose from. Looking for something to eat, there are plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants.

Day Trip Rottnest Island
we used sea link though bookme. Com cheaper than direct at our date. Boat trip return excellent. Rottnest a must do early sail gives you a full day wd recommend spending the night so you can discover more places to spend time at on hop off hop on bus. Don’t just go to first cafe you see. Hop on hop off bus we did the round trip then chose where to go back to

Definitely not good
I booked for a return ferry at 4pm and I received a pdf with a return at 2:30pm and I realised that already in Rottnest Island. I was very lucky that the guy controlling the access to the ship was very kind and understood everything and let me and my friend in. If you say that ferri returns at 4 you have to keep that.

Great experience - Quokkas & Beaches
We had a great time at Rotto! :) there were so many quokkas right at the beginning but basically everywhere, they were th cutest and friendly. They are used to humans so they just chill next to the cafes :D Otherwise, we walked around. There were nice views and beaches. We had a chill beach day and enjoyed it a lot! Totally recommended :P
