Join us for a river cruise on the beautiful Daintree River looking for wildlife such as frogs, snakes, birds and estuarine crocodiles in their natural environment. The tour includes commentary about the area and the mangrove ecosystem.


Departures:

9:30am: Daintree Tea, Coffee & Kids Slushy (7 days a week, 1 Hour)

11:00am: Daintree Tea, Coffee & Kids Slushy(7 days a week, 1 Hour)

12:00pm: Aussie Lunch - Included(7 days a week, 1 Hour)

2:00pm: Cold Drink & Snack(Mon – Sat,1 Hour)

Monday to Saturday 9am to 5pm (March to January)

Sunday 9am to 1pm (March to January)

We are closed the whole of February, Christmas day and reduced hours on public holidays.

Bad Weather Refunds

  • If your experience is cancelled by the operator (because of the bad weather, safety concerns, unscheduled maintenance etc) you will be entitled to a full refund.

Notes

  • A minimum of 4 adults is required for this tour to run.

    Customer cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will not be eligible for a refund. Cancellations with more than 24 hours notice will be charged a 10% fee.

    We operate in all weather conditions so please dress accordingly.

  • Check-in:

    Please check-in 30 minutes prior to departure, 45 minutes drive north of Port Douglas near the Daintree Village. See signs for 'Bruce Belcher's Daintree River Cruise'. You will need to make your own way to our location.

    Wildlife Disclaimer:

    Bruce Belcher's Daintree River Cruises is conducted in the wild & crocodile sightings CANNOT be guaranteed. However, we have been operating since 1987, and in the well over 40,000 tours conducted, our crocodile success rate has been 98% particularly in the cooler months (June to September). If you do not see a crocodile, we are happy to give you a complimentary return ticket.

Very cool experience!

We booked this tour last minute and we are so happy we did! We got to see everything you could wish for: swimming croc, mega croc, sunbathing croc, 1-year old crocs, couple-month old crocs, plus a ton of birds! The tour is the perfect length of time and the tour guide is super knowledgeable and happy to answer questions or joke around. Truly couldn’t ask for a better croc tour experience :)
