See the quaint village of Arrowtown before you ride at your own pace along the stunning Queenstown Trail to the shores of Lake Wakatipu and Queenstown Bay!
Prepare for a great time out exploring the Queenstown trails!
Check in to that meeting point in central Queenstown where you'll be met by local knowledgeable guides and provided with valuable information about the trail before you head out on a scenic 25-minute drive to Arrowtown.
Once in Arrowtown, you will be fitted to your bike, given trail tips, a map and safety briefing before you are set free on your adventure!
You may choose to enjoy a pre-ride coffee or brunch and a look around the quaint village of Arrowtown before setting off to ride at your leisure along the Arrow River Bridges Trail toward Morven Ferry Intersection. From here either take a diversion to the Kawarau Bungy or follow the Twin Rivers Trail along the Kawarau and Shotover Rivers to the shores of Lake Wakatipu and onward to Queenstown Bay where you can return your bike.
This is a great day out exploring Queenstown and the Queenstown Trail. This trail is a purpose built off-road biking trail. Average biking time is 4 hours, allow longer if you go to Bungy and if you want to enjoy stops along the way.
Recommended for fit, confident and regular riders. Children must be minimum of 12 years old.

Thanks for the review :)
Hi Gabrielle, thanks for your review. Sorry to hear you were uncomfortable on the electric bikes. We do have cruiser bikes available so if you come out with us again let us know and we can provide you with these so your ride is more comfortable. We are stoked you enjoyed the rest of the ride though! Cheers, Izzy from Around The Basin.
HI Lee, Thanks for the review and glad you had a good time despite the rain! I agree, gloves are a MUST in winter!! Thanks, the Around The Basin Team
Hi Noel, Thanks for your review and glad you had a good ride! Sorry that you found the signage poor. These are done by the Queenstown Trail Network and designed to be used alongside our map we give you (that has the place names on you may not have heard of), and sometimes people miss some signs as they're distracted by the scenery! But thank you for your feed back as it is always good to be aware of, we will try and make sure that the trail stays well marked. Thanks, Louise at Around The Basin
