Hi Penny, glad to hear you enjoyed the tour and found it informative! Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review including a snap, always great to see people enjoying the experience 😊 Warm regards, The HOHO Team
We had an enjoyable day with friends visiting some lovely wineries. The bus driver was friendly and we enjoyed the tastings and food we bought.. It’s a good idea to have a plan so you know which wineries you are going to. Also, you need to book with Hop On Hop off if you want to get off at Amisfield as only a few can visit at a time.
Hi Karen, wonderful to hear you enjoyed your tour so much 😊 Thank you for taking the time to leave such a detailed, positive review. Warm regards, The HOHO Team
Very knowledgable friendly drivers, lovely scenery, excellent hop off venues, yummy wines - all in all a great day with only the weather not behaving!
Hi Donna, what a wonderful review! Greta to hear you enjoyed the experience so much - disregarding that michief weather! Warm regards, The HOHO Team
It was our 2nd time at hop on hop off tours. It was a nice way to go around the different wineries & enjoy the Queenstown view along the way. I would have liked to have the driver’s commentary along the way even though it wasn't our first time at Queenstown & at the Hop on Hop off tours.
Hi Angela, great to hear you're making the most of all the wonderful experiences HOHO has to offer. Thank you for your feedback regarding the commentary, all of our drivers include this as a standard part of the tour but we'll be sure to check in. Looking forward to seeing you next time! Warm regards, The HOHO Team
WOULD ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMEND UNLESS YOU KNOW THE SPECIFIC WINERIES YOU WANT TO VISIT, OTHERWISE VERY UNPLEASANT. Our fault (accordingly to the staff), we didn't know what we were booking but the treatment we received because of this was appalling. It was suggested that we take an Uber from points along the trip - we did not understand their system - it was not our job to know. What we DID want was suggestions of which wineries to visit. Our intention was to enjoy the scenery so neither of us had to drive. Wrong tour to take! Maybe grab an Uber to take a scenic tour around Q'town and Arrowtown - it might be cheaper than the $190 for the tour plus $50 for Uber to escape the tour!! The office administrator was extremely rude, the tour guide Pete, was pleasant to a point. We felt our day was completely wasted. If we could give a big fat ZERO we would.
Dear DJChick Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We're sorry to hear that your day did not meet your expectations. Our Hop-On Hop-Off Wine Tour is designed to give guests the flexibility to choose which wineries they would like to visit, rather than following a fixed guided itinerary. On the day, we were pleased to offer you a complimentary upgrade from the 11:20am departure to the 10:30am tour so you could enjoy a longer day exploring the region. When you advised our team that neither of you drank alcohol, we understood that this might not be the ideal tour for what you were looking for. I personally took the time to speak with you and suggest options to help make the most of your day. During our conversation, you mentioned that you couldn't remember what the driver had previously explained, so I went through the tour options and how the service worked again. You then explained you had a bad memory. I explained you could not sit on the bus and go round and round as it does not work like that. Other HOHO travel max 36km worldwide in citys not 162km. It works one way and once you have gone past a place you can not go backwards which you were trying to do sereval times, the driver did this once for you. Our recommendations, including spending time in Arrowtown or adjusting your plans, were made with the intention of helping you have an enjoyable experience. Throughout the day, you visited several wineries to use the facilities, have water, and charge your phones. While wineries are welcoming to all visitors, the Hop-On Hop-Off experience is intended for guests wanting to enjoy the wineries and the wine region itself. We're disappointed to read that you felt I was rude, as this is not the level of service we strive to provide. We always aim to assist our guests as best we can, even when it becomes apparent that the tour may not be the right fit for their expectations. We appreciate your feedback and are sorry that this experience was not what you had hoped for. We wish you all the best with your future travels. Kind regards, The Team

Hop on and off beer and wine
On time and kept to the time table. Informative but a little hard to hear down the back . A good way to see and know about some wineries in and around Queenstown
