Leave downtown Queenstown in your wake as you power into the channels of two of New Zealand's most scenic waterways; The Kawarau & Shotover Rivers!
Skimming over the pure waters of Lake Wakatipu taking in stunning views of the Remarkables Mountain range, we follow the beautiful willow lined Kawarau River, before pursuing the shallower waters and fast-moving braids of the famous Shotover River.
In the shallow waters the Jet boat comes into its own travelling at speeds up to 95 km/ph often in water less than 5cm deep! Your experienced driver will skillfully negotiate the narrow braids, and tight turns of the river while making plenty of time for the exhilarating 360 spins that Jet boats are renowned for.
Covering a full 45 kilometres you get to experience the fantastic diversity of Queenstown's waterways, take in glimpses of local life from the homes lining the lakeshore, as well as stunning views all along the way including river gardens and great views of the Remarkables Mountain Range.

KJet Queenstown
KJet was one of my fav experiences in Queenstown im so glad I got to give it a go and enjoyed it so much the 360 spins was so fun also the amazing captain Luke was so funny đ hilarious with his jokes during the rides. Thanks KJet will recommend to everyone come and enjoy the when youâre in town A+

Highly recommend
We had Sam as our driver and he was great! The girl who helps out with the life jackets was awesome! Great yarns. The spins were so much fun. For anyone coming to Queenstown would highly recommend!

The system wasn't working!
We booked the 1-hour KJet ride for our first wedding anniversary, flying all the way from Wellington to Queenstown for this special experience. The ride itself was fun, but what ruined it for us is the complete failure of KJetâs promise to capture the moment. Before boarding, we were assured that the jet boat had a camera system recording everything. Trusting their word, we left our own 360 camera in the drop bag area, only to later find out that the boatâs camera system was not working at all. As a result, we have absolutely no photos or videos to remember this once-in-a-lifetime activity. This was especially heartbreaking because it was our anniversary trip â something we had been looking forward to and wanted to treasure forever. Instead, we are left with nothing but disappointment. For a company that promotes its camera system as part of the experience, this is completely unacceptable. At the very least, KJet should have informed customers beforehand or offered some compensation, but instead we were simply told after the fact that âthe system wasnât working.â We feel let down and misled, and sadly cannot recommend KJet to anyone who values memories as much as the activity itself.
