You get to visit various filming locations for the Lord of the Rings trilogy with an entertaining and knowledgeable guide who will bring the stories to life, share secrets about how locations were transformed into Middle Earth, and even let you re-live the action through your very own camera!
You handle and photograph over $15,000 worth of weapons and costumes and create your very own fantasy adventure film!
On this tour, experience the spectacular landscapes of featured films such as The Argonath (Pillars of the King), The Gladden Fields and The Ford of Bruinen. Learn about the history of gold mining while visiting the picturesque Arrowtown.
We travel in small groups for a personal and interactive experience. Enjoy a full commentary of the beautiful areas you will travel through and hear all the LotR stories and gossip!

lor tour
loved the experience of handling all the swords..so much fun...very impressed with the knowledge of my guide Lectric...all the locations and scenery was brilliant...would recomend this tour to all. thanks again merry xmas Gail

I had an awesome time on this tour, very knowledgeable and friendly service! Definitely go with this company, they have the coolest call sheets and props at the end too!

Fantastic Tour!
Our guide Annie was amazing, full of knowledge with interesting facts. Definitely worth doing this tour even if you're not a LOTR fan. A great way to see Queenstown and the surrounding areas' natural beauty. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and the props stop was a bonus on top! Highly recommend this tour!

A great tour
A great tour, Shane the guide is a real 10/10 LOTR fan (although he says he's a 9/10), very patient, caring for everybody in the tour, keeping everyone interested, funny and really knows the small details that make it fun. The scenery was amazing, extra sight seeing with the visit to Arrowtown, and the costumes are a nice cherry on top.

Faszinierend, atemberaubend und höchst informativ
Eines muss man vorab sagen: Die Tour war hochprofessionell organisiert, gut strukturiert und profitierte enorm von Annie und ihrer hoch charmanten Art. Überpünktlich ging es morgens los, schon die Fahrt zum ersten Stop führte durch eine malerische Kulisse. Die Punkte waren für eine Halbtagestour gut gewählt, nicht zu weit auseinander und vermittelten einen guten Eindruck von den Drehorten. Sehr gut war, dass sich Annie nicht auf Herr der Ringe beschränkte, sondern sehr viel lokale Geschichte miteinfließen ließ. Dadurch bekam man für Queenstown und Umgebung nochmal einen sehr viel besseren Eindruck. 5 von 5 Punkten versteht sich hier von ganz alleine.
