Fly the full length of Milford Sound before landing and enjoying 2 hours out on the fiord while listening to your skipper talking of the history and geography of the area. Then enjoy a return flight to Wanaka via a different scenic route.
Wanaka is a popular departure point for Milford Sound Flights offering similar prices for a longer flight and better views than the flights departing from other locations. Departing from Wanaka enables passengers close up views of the spectacular Mt Aspiring and many glaciers which are not able to be seen if departing from neighbouring Queenstown.

Amazing experience highly recommended if you have the extra cash! Great commentary from the pilot as well and great service! Cruise was fantastic too but the flight is just stunning.

Amazing trip!
I would thoroughly recommend this trip, it was the highlight of my holiday to New Zealand. The view from the plane was incredible and then getting to see Milford Sound from a different aspect on the cruise was fantastic. The pilot was great at informing us of what we could see and interesting facts about the area.

That’s alright
Absolute no brainer. You save time in not driving all the way down to Milford and get the flight experience which was as good as if not better than the cruise itself. Pilot really friendly and with interesting information on the various glaciers and peaks that you pass on the way.

在飛機上看見壯闊的風景，來回看的風景不同，坐的船不大但是能很靠近瀑布，是個只花半天就能好好欣賞峽灣與紐西蘭高山的好方式，
