From Milford Sound - Fly-Cruise-Fly - True South Flights
Hi Claude, Thanks for your review. I am very sorry that your flight was postponed 4 times and cancelled at the end due weather. We totally understand you were hugely disappointed that you couldn't fly to Milford Sound. However the safety is the first priority for us, and unfortunately we cannot fly if the weather is not good enough to operate safely. Hope you still had a nice time with your family in Queenstown. Une experience inoubliable
Je recommande à tout le monde d'opter pour le fly Cruise and fly. C'est une expérience unique des plus extraordinaire de la Nouvelle Zelande. De très belles prestations avec un shuttle de l'hôtel à l'aérodrome puis les explications du pilote. De plus il se charge de récupérer votre pass pour le bateau et le déjeuner est offert. La balade en bateau est sympa mais une fois qu'on a vécu l'expérience en avion plus rien n'est aussi beau que la vue de là haut ! Et le retour en avion est top. Certes le bus est moins cher mais le confort de l'avion est incomparable

Good Experience Marred by Booking Handling
The experience itself was great nothing to complain about. I was disappointed by how our booking time was handled by TrueSouth. We had booked this experience one month in Advance, the booking time and day had to be moved around due to weather. We felt that people who book on the day or on spot get preference over people who had planned and paid much in advance, our schedule changed a few times before we were put on a afternoon slot, though we'd preferred a morning one.

That said, we were disappointed to read your comments about how the booking was handled. We want to clarify what actually happened from our side. Your original booking was for June 19th, but after closely monitoring the weather, our team reached out *proactively* to let you know that flying conditions that day wouldnât be suitable. To make sure you didnât miss out altogether, we offered to move you to a day prior, June 18th, when the weather was much better. We completely understand that you preferred a morning slot, but unfortunately, only the afternoon tour was available at that time. While it wasnât your first choice, we truly believe this adjustment gave you the best chance to enjoy the experience. In fact, had we left your booking as originally planned, the tour did end up being cancelled due to weather. We also want to be clear that we donât give priority to walk-in or last-minute bookings over those planned in advance. Safety and fairness are always our top priorities, and our goal is to give everyoneâthe best possible experience. Weâre sorry you felt let down, especially when our team did their best to keep you flying under the safest and most enjoyable conditions. This is an absolute treat of an experience. Amazing on a clear day seeing the mountains. All the staff made this a memorable adventure

Vol et croisière à Milford Sound ont été reportés 4 fois et je suis repartie sans avoir pu voir Milford Sound.Sans doute que Air Wakatipu ne veut pas prendre de risques en cas de météo incertaine, mais se préparer chaque jour pour un vol finalement annulé, quelle déception !!! Par contre, le remboursement pour annulation de la part du prestataire a été immédiat.
